Tak hanya motor jepang yang unjuk gigi di ajang pameran EICMA Milan, pabrikan motor eropa pun tak ingin kalah nih. Setelah Ducati yang meluncurkan Ducati 1299 Panigale, Ducati 1299 Panigale S dan Ducati 1199 Panigale R, kini giliran Aprillia yang melucurkan spesifikasi super sport produknya.

Aprilia RSV4 RR diperkenalkan oleh Aprilia di EICMA Milan memarakkan suasana pameran otomotif bertaraf internasional tersebut. Layaknya RC213V-S, Aprilia RSV4 RR merupakan versi jalanan dari motor prototype Aprilia RSV4 yang digunakan untuk kompetisi World Superbike yang juga merupakan Juara Dunia WSBK 2014 kali ini.

Seperti model RSV4 sebelumnya, Aprilia RSV4 RR memiliki desain fairing depan dan headlamp yang lebih baru berteknologi LED light. Begitu juga dengan tangkai spion dimana keduanya built-in indikator berbasis lampu LED. Kapasitas mesin 999,6cc dengan desain V4 yang mampu menghasilkan tenaga 201 hp. Output power ini diklaim meningkat 17hp lebih baik dari versi sebelumnya. Namun dianggap masih kalah power ketimbang Ducati 1299 Panigale yang tembus 205 hp.

Meskipun demikian, kesuksesan Aprilia menjadi juara dunia superbike 2014 kali ini menjadi nilai tambah dari produk tersebut dibandingkan produk lain yang sejenis. (fnc)
